AMHA / AMHR reg'd 30" 1993 Buckskin Stallion "Dez"
Bond Ringmaster 31.75" x Fishers Golden Frolic 29.5"

Boy were we lucky to be able to get our hands on this treasure of a stallion! We were told by Randy from Imprint Miniatures to never underestimate what Dez could do for us.. And from the second we saw Dez there wasn't a glimmer of a chance that we'd ever doubt this stallion!  And let's just say we were in love the first time we saw his beautiful face covered with that long forelock step out of that trailer!!

Dez is a rich golden color with those exquisite dark chocolate points. With a perfectly loveable araby face and huge doe eyes, short back paired with a elegant straight topline, thin and long in the neck with barely a throatlatch --This stallion would still be very competitive today and was before his time! Sired by Bond Ringmaster with that fantastic Bond pedigree that helped start the miniature horse breed.
We are proud to own such an excellent stallion. Dez has found his forever home!
  • Dez is the sire of the 2007 World Grand Champion Senior Stallion 28" & Under, Sunrise Hill Desert Serenade, who also captured the 2009 World Reserve Champion Senior Stallion 28" & Under!

Desert Gold's Scrapbook
On the evening of May 29th, I was out with some friends when I got a phone call from my Mom, asking me to come home, something was wrong with Dez.
I sped home to rush into the barn to see my little guy, his jaw clenched in pain, pacing his stall. I sat down in his pen, where he immediately laid down and rested his head on my lap.
He gave a long, peaceful sigh, looked up at me with his big brown eyes, and began to roll.
We called the vet as soon as we could, who said that there was a very slim chance of him surviving the colic, let alone recovering from it. With our permission, she put my little guy down.
Mom said, it was almost like he was waiting for me to come home, to say his last goodbye.
Kaycee's little man.. Rest in Peace my dearest Dez May 29th, 2011.
